Confident Airlines gets license for non-scheduled operations
By Lakshmi Vishwanath Bangalore | |||
Bangalore-based Confident Airlines has acquired the license for non-scheduled operations from the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA). It will now operate mainly from Jakkur Aerodrome and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) airport to various destinations in South India. The airline was given the approval by MoCA to operate from HAL airport as it falls under the general aviation category. The airline will operate only during the day as it does not have world-class pilots to handle operations during the night. It is in talks with several IT and manufacturing companies in Bangalore to utilise its charter operations but nothing has been finalised. Confident Airlines has already tied up with McML Electrical Systems which will utilise their charter operations. The airline is further exploring the possibility of a long term tie-up with McML for using their charter service twice a month. |
